Performance of investment tools this week: Borsa Istanbul sees decline, while Dollar, Euro and gold experience gains

Borsa Istanbul: Stocks traded on the Borsa Istanbul decreased by an average of 5.40% on a weekly basis. The BIST 100 index, after reaching a low of 9,733.35 and a high of 10,193.88 points during the week, ended the week at 9,907.38 points, marking a 5.40% loss compared to the previous week’s close.

Gold: The price of gold per gram increased by 0.92%, reaching 2,619 Turkish Lira (TRY). The price of Republic gold coins rose by 1.11%, reaching 17,310 TRY, while quarter gold coins increased from 4,290 TRY to 4,345 TRY.

US Dollar: The US Dollar appreciated by 1.03%, reaching 33.5360 TRY.

Euro: The Euro increased by 1.15%, reaching 36.6370 TRY.

Investment Funds: Investment funds declined by 1.23%, while pension funds saw a 2.02% decrease. Among investment fund categories, the best-performing was the “Money Market” funds, which gained 0.95%.
