Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Tuesday that “with the support of the nation, the process of confidence and stability in the Turkish economy would continue.”

ERDOGANAddressing the Turkish nation on Turkish TV channels, Erdogan said that they would never make concessions from monetary and fiscal policies.

We will never take any steps that would bother the private and financial sector, Erdogan said.”The confidence that our people have increased, and despite the economic crisis in the United States and Europe, Turkey continues to grow in a stable fashion,” Erdogan said. Our entrepreneurs, industrialists, employers, investors and contractors continue to assume important projects in all corners of the world, Erdogan said.

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that it was impossible for any regional administration to turn its face away from the rightful demands of its people.

Addressing the Turkish nation on Turkish TV channels, Erdogan said that transitional administrations that have assumed the power after the dictators should not delay the process. Our stance on Syria is mainly based on humanitarian concerns, Erdogan said.

“The more peaceful Syria is the more peaceful Turkey is. What is taking place in Syria is not just an internal matter of Syria as some circles claim,” Erdogan said. Erdogan said one million people out of a total of 20 million Syrians visit Turkey each year, adding that 1.5 million Turks visit Syria every year. “We can not watch with silence what happens in a country with which we have so deep rooted relations,” Erdogan said.

It is completely unacceptable to witness xenophobia in Europe in the 21st century especially after the continent suffered so much due to clashes among cultures and civilizations, Erdogan said. We openly reject all forms of racism, xenophobia and Islamophobia, he said.

Turkish prime minister said on Tuesday that KCK organization was an organization attempt parallel to the state. Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said KCK organization was an organization attempt parallel to the state which was steered from Imrali Prison (by head terrorist Abdullah Ocalan), and which was collaborating with terrorism.

“Those who define KCK operations as arrest of politicians and limitation of freedom of expression should first of all look at the evidence, documents, photographs and facts; and see those who are providing terrorism with logistic support under the cover of lawyer,” Erdogan told a televised address to the nation.

Erdogan said KCK operations were staged in line with judicial decisions and after pursuit of intelligence organizations and security units. “It is unjust and baseless to target at the government and launch an anti-government campaign regarding KCK operations,” he said.

Erdogan said those who showed KCK organization as an innocent civilian organization were in a serious mistake, and recent documents and photographs had proved what kind of a direct relationship KCK and terrorist organization PKK, and KCK members and terrorist organization PKK members had with each other.

“None of the mayors were arrested by taking his/her municipal services or political activities into consideration. Each of them were detained or arrested on charges of their involvement in terrorism and illegal activities under several documents and evidence,” he said.

Erdogan said if there were innocent people among the detainees, judicial organs would naturally release them.

Moreover, Erdogan said the government would not tolerate any approach against freedom when it was trying to broaden freedom of expression, lifting bans and correcting previous mistakes.

“We will never let and condone the terrorist organization and an organization in contact with the terrorist organization to put pressure on regional people, collect unjust money from them, and even do fascism,” Erdogan said.

Erdogan said KCK and similar structures were the biggest threat before democracies, adding that as long as democracy developed, such democracy foes would be nonfunctional. “Therefore, we will not make any concessions of democracy, freedom of expression, and fundamental rights and freedoms,” Premier Erdogan also said.
