The Popularity of Yachting & Luxury Boats in Turkey

Although the history of modern services  for recreational boating reaches back to more than three decades in Turkey, the country’s increasing popularity in nautical tourism is advantaged by its spectacular coastline and a past noted for the rich sea-faring literature.

The Blue Cruise is a good example of the everyday culture, for instance. In Turkey there are many points of stop and supply for yachts, including large and well-established ones.

In spite of all this, it cannot be said that Turkey – in terms of its natural beauties and the opportunities it offers the yacht community – gets what it deserves as far as number of cruises, and the revenues generated are concerned.

So, as with many other fields in the country there is still much more to do and a lot to gain provided this activity (and life style) is well promoted in the country and the beauties country offers are promoted allover the world.

Within this context, An International exhibition under the name of Marmaris Yacht Charter show is held in Marmaris every year.

The show has been organized for 30 years now with growing interest year after year. Marmaris International Yat Club was the organizer of the exhibition at Marmaris Yacht port, this year.

Visitors were impressed by million dolar yachts exhibited at Marmaris Yacht Charter show this year.

Many visitors took fotographs of the spectacular boats exhibited and were given a tour of the ones theye were specifically interested in.
