Many a countries have nearly (and some literally) gone bankrupt.. Big powers such as European Union, World Bank and IMF have strecthed out a hand to prevent those “BROTHERS” from collapsing (they are still doing so).

Consequently a plenty of investors have fleed from said “scary” markets..

Investment flooding to Turkey in face of European crisis

Turkey is one of the shining stars in the world with a growing attraction for such fleeing stock market players as stated by reputable sources as well.

Investors increasingly see Turkey as a safe heaven amid the crisis in Europe triggered by Greece and are voting with their wallets.

It is noted that Turkey’s growth rate, budget deficit, and public debt make it seem more and more attractive.

Portfolio investments in Turkey rose to $14.8 billion in the first five months of this year, and foreign investors bought 3.7 billion Turkish liras of bonds from the Treasury.

Bond interest rates also fell from 9.5 percent to 8.5 percent.
