PLEASE TAKE A LOOK at some PREPOSITIONS we will need to use while making sentences in Turkish. Please try to memorize these prepositions which we will often use while making sentences. Certainly we also need conjunctions etc which we will refer to when needed while making sentences.

PREPOSITIONS

from: den / dan (from school / okuldan)
to: e/a (to school / okula, to my home / evi-m-e
towards: ..e doğru (towards the door / kapı-ya doğru
at: de / da (at home / evde)
in: içinde (in the car / araba-nın içinde
on: üstünde/üzerinde (on the table / masa-nın üzerinde)
for: için (for my friend / arkadaşım için)
with: ile (with my friend / arkadaşımla or arkadaşım ile
without: sız / siz (without Money / para-sız, without you / sen-siz)
under: altında (under the table / masa-nın altında)
behind: arkasında (behind the building / bina-nın arkasında)
inf front of: önünde (in front of the post office / postane-nin önünde)
near: yakınında (near our school / okulumuz-un yakınında)
over: üzerinde (over the city / şehrin/kentin üzeri-nde)
below: aşağısında (below 100 degrees / 100 derece-nin altında)
above: yukarısında (above his head / yukarısında / üstünde)
