President Erdoğan announces bans will gradually be lifted starting end of February

After the cabinet meeting President Erdogan made an announcement saying, “We are seperating cities  into four groups according to risk criteria such as low, medium, high and very high risk and starting the normalization process  accordingly as of beginning of March.

The President also shared following: “In particular, the roadmap of steps that to relieve our restaurants, cafes, kirathane and similar artisans who have had to decommission their work due to the epidemic will be announced in the coming days. The situation of our students who are still continuing their activities via distance education will also be evaluated according to the number of cases in our provinces.

Starting with the weekend practice, curfew restrictions will also be gradually reduced in accordance with the vaccination of cases in our provinces and other relevant criteria, which is important here. The more careful our citizens are about this, the more sensitive they behave, the better the appearance in their provinces, the faster the normalization schedule will progress.”
