President Erdogan asks for blessing in Adıyaman after earthquakes in Turkey

President and AKP Leader Tayyip Erdogan asked for people’s blessings in Adiyaman, which was hit by the Kahramanmaraş-based earthquakes that occurred on February 6. Erdogan said, “Unfortunately, we were not able to carry out the work in the first few days in Adıyaman with the performance we wanted. We are asking for your blessings.”

Erdogan, together with MHP leader Devlet Bahceli made examinations at Altinşehir Container City and visited the earthquake victims in their containers.

ERDOGAN CONVEYS HIS “GET WELL” WISHES TO THE REGION

Erdogan, in his speech here, said “It was the 22^nd day of the earthquake and that there had been 10 thousand aftershocks since the disaster the country experienced on the morning of February 6. Erdogan, conveyed his get well wishes to Adiyaman and the whole region and prayed for those who had lost their lives in the earthquake.

WE WERE NOT ABLE TO CARRY OUT WORK WITH PERFORMANCE IN FIRST FEW DAYS

Emphasizing that Adiyaman was also one of the cities most affected by the destruction caused by strong earthquakes and aftershocks experienced in an unprecedented way in the world, Erdogan said, “Unfortunately, we could not carry out the work in the first few days in Adiyaman for reasons such as the devastating effect of the tremors, adverse weather conditions, difficulties caused by damaged infrastructure. I want blessings (forgiveness) from you for this. We are aware of everything and no one should have any doubt that we are doing what is necessary and that we will do. After overcoming the difficulties in the first days, we accelerated the rescue and relief activities of our Adiyaman brothers under the ruins.”
