ERDOGAN GRADUAL NORMALIZATION MEASURES

AKP President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced a ‘gradual normalization’ timetable for June. Saturday June curfew restrictions will continue to apply between 22: 00 pm and 05: 00 am on weekdays and Saturdays, according to the report.

Down below is the new program as explained by the President:

During June curfew restrictions will continue to be practiced between 22: 00 pm and 05: 00 am on weekdays and Saturdays.

At weekends, this restriction will be applied between Saturday 22.00 and Monday morning 05.00 that is, to cover whole Sunday.

In July, these restriction times and days will be re-determined according to the change in the number of cases and deaths, the distance covered in vaccination.

Eating and drinking places will be able to serve to tables according to the rules in effect, between 07.00-21.00 and will be able to continue the takeaway until 24.00.

On Sundays, these venues will continue to provide takeaway services only due to curfew restrictions.

Businesses such as coffee shops, cafes, tea gardens, football fields, gyms, amusement parks will be able to work between 07.00-21.00 from tomorrow within the framework of the rules in effect, except on Sundays.

The academic calendar of the 2021-2022 academic year of universities will start on September 13.

Flexible working hours practice in public institutions will continue until a new regulation.

Sports clubs will be able to hold their general meetings from the first day of June, and other organizations will be able to hold their general meetings from the second half.

Weddings in indoor and outdoor areas and wedding ceremonies in the form of weddings can start from June 1 in accordance with the established conditions.
