A new round of price increases has hit some of the most popular soft drink brands. Everyday favorites like Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Cappy, and Fuse Tea have all seen price hikes, with some products rising by as much as 5 TL.

The news was announced by Erol Dündar, President of the Turkish Liquor Store Association (TBYD), who shared the updated price list on his social media account. According to Dündar, the price hike particularly affects canned and 1-liter packaged drinks.

The increase doesn’t just apply to sodas like Coca-Cola, Fanta, and Sprite. Fruit-based drinks like Cappy and iced tea brand Fuse Tea have also been impacted. Dündar’s post quickly drew attention, sparking conversation among consumers.

Rising production and logistics costs are believed to be behind the latest price adjustment. However, the hike may add to consumers’ burden—especially as the summer season approaches and demand for cold drinks rises.

What Do Consumers Think?

As prices climb, reactions on social media have been mixed. While some people expressed understanding, others voiced frustration, saying that even basic beverages are becoming harder to afford. It remains to be seen how this increase will affect retail prices at stores in the coming days.
