Prominent singer requests President Erdoğan to lift the music ban

Singer Demet Akalın who participated in the iftar dinner organized by Erdogan, said initiative had been started to lift the ban on music (after 24:00 that is).

Question was forwarded to famous names who participated in the iftar dinner organized by President Erdoğan at Dolmabahçe Palace said asking “Dear artists who participated in the iftar invitation of our President; Have you brought up the ban on music? If you inform us, we will be pleased.” The answer to the question came from Demet Akalın.

Singer Demet Akalın, who participated in the invitation, responded to these words saying, “Let me inform you… Of course… Maybe no one dared, but I asked on behalf of all the musicians.”
