Before the Central Bank’s interest rate decision for November, the USD/TRY exchange rate reached a new record level. The Euro also continued its rise. So, what will happen to the dollar after the interest rate decision? Experts express that in the short term, if the expected 250 basis point increase occurs, the USD/TRY exchange rate could reach the figure of 30 TL.

The USD/TRY exchange rate rose to 28.88 during the time when the markets were closed today. The dollar, which closed the day at 28.82 levels yesterday, rose to 28.8552 TL after the opening, setting its record once again at a higher level. The exchange rate is currently moving around 28.84 TL.
