Reports show tourists do not comply with coronavirus measures in Antalya
In Antalya the number of cases before the tourist season was almost down to zero. However, the table began to change after Eid al-Adha. After August 10, the number of cases increased rapidly with the start of arrivals from foreign countries. It is also noted that those working in shops and tourism were mostly affected by the virus.
While Turkish citizens who do not use masks are fined 900 TL, tourists walking at the busiest points of the city without a mask or with a mask under the chin do not take any precautions and this situation creates unease in Antalya.
In September, an average of 40 thousand tourists per day came to Antalya.
Russia sent the highest number of tourists with 320 followed by Ukraine with 96 thousand. England and Germany sent 53 thousand and 51 thousand respectively. (TG)
