Russians can holiday in Turkey for TL 2,700-3,500 on New Year’s Eve

The executive director of a prominent tourism company in Russia said a holiday in Turkey could be made for TL 2,700 – 3,500 on New Year’s Eve.

While Russians are counting down the days for the New Year holidays, Russian tour operators are expecting a decrease in the price of holiday packages in Turkey. The Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, gave the “good news” to Russians, planning a vacation:

She said, “Because it is low season, Turkey tours are traditionally cheaper in November-December. It comes at almost the same prices as in Egypt. Maybe even a little lower than Egypt… A one-week tour package per person will cost 20-25 thousand rubles.”

This figure corresponds to 2,700 – 3,500 pounds sterling.

She also said that the most popular New Year’s holiday destinations will be Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the Maldives, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Mexico.

In the meantime, prices for tours to Egypt have dropped significantly due to the resumption of charter flights. Prices are down 50 percent compared to September.

Currently, the United Arab Emirates ranks first among foreign destinations in December sales.
