ALCOHOL ON AIRLINES

Ryanair has joined the measures taken by Spain against drunk tourists who annoy local residents and other tourists by drinking excessive alcohol.

Ryanair has banned passengers from bringing alcohol with them when boarding flights from the UK to six Spanish destinations in Spain. The airline sent an email to its customers informing them that all hand luggage and alcoholic beverages, including shopping bags at the airport stores, will be removed and transported from the baggage section of the aircraft.

With the regulation introduced, alcoholic beverages purchased from airport stores or elsewhere will be labeled at the boarding gate and then given to the baggage section of the aircraft free of charge. Thus, the passenger will not be able to take alcohol with him while on the plane, so he will not be able to drink alcohol during the plane trip

In the statement, it is warned that the passenger will not be taken on the plane if he does not comply with the prevention. According to a report on media, the regulation was based on the demands of the British Cabin Crew Union (UNITE) in this direction from airline companies and airport operators.
