TITAN PASSENGERS DIE IN ATLANTIC

OceanGate company, the owner of the submarine that disappeared while diving to the wreck of the Titanic, announced that they believed that all 5 people on board the submarine had died. Meanwhile the US Coast Guard announced that pieces of debris belonging to Titan had been found.

The search for a missing submarine near the wreck of the Titanic entered a critical period after the time when oxygen was expected to run out for the five people on board was exceeded. However, officials announced that they would continue to search the remote North Atlantic.

The US Coast Guard announced on Twitter that a remote-controlled vehicle lowered to the ocean floor from a Canadian ship had discovered a “debris field” near the Titanic, and experts had confirmed that the pieces of debris belonged to the Titan. It was noted that the debris fragments found were assessed to belong to the outer body of Titan.

In a statement from the owner of the missing submarine, Oceangate, it was stated that those on the submarine had died. Another robot from the French research ship was sent to dive to the seabed to search for traces of the 6.7-meter Titan submarine.

The van-sized Titan Expeditions, operated by US-based OceanGate, began a two-hour descent in the morning on Sunday. However, he soon lost contact with the support ship.
