Sales process of Togg, Turkey’s automobile, begins today

The price of Togg will be announced today. The eagerly awaited sales process of Togg, Turkey’s first domestic car, is starting this week. The initial package is expected to be around TL 1 million. According to the priority order (based on drawing at of the end of the month), 20 thousand units will be delivered to Togg owners by the end of 2023.

WHAT ABOUT THE PRICE?

According to news in media, the important factor of the price policy for Togg will be to declare a price citizens can reach. Recently, the SCT base regulation has arrived. The excise duty base of electric vehicles with an engine power exceeding 160 kilowatts has been increased to 40 percent.

The excise duty base in which Togg took part remained at 10 percent. After this arrangement, estimates began to be made that Togg’s starter packs would go on sale for around 1 million pounds.

20 Thousand vehicles will be delivered to Togg C-SUV owners whose pre-order has been received and who will be eligible according to the sequence number by the end of 2023.

The first delivery will start at the end of March. The priority will be determined only by drawing.
