“Six-party table” convenes to review work accomplished by commissions established a while ago
The six political parties that have come together targeting strengthened parliamentary system are meeting once again today. The meeting, which will be hosted by the Chairman of the Future Party Ahmet Davutoglu, will take place to start a new stage concerning the work of the commissions established in recent months.
On the other hand, new scenarios are being discussed for Kemal KILICDAROGLU, the CHP leader whose name is the most talked about for presidential nomination.
The leaders of the CHP, the GOOD Party, Felicity, Future, Deva Party and the Democratic Party, who met at the iftar dinner at the Democratic Party Headquarters during Ramadan, are meeting again after a month’s break. A large number of agenda topics will be discussed at the meeting to be held at the Future Party today.
WHAT’S ON THE TABLE?
One of the important agenda items of the meeting will be the work of the previously established commissions. Setting out the goal and principles of a strengthened parliamentary system, the parties aim to decide on effective steps to be taken as soon as possible after a possible election victory.
The stages regarding the goals such as the Law on Political Morality, ensuring the functioning of the Economic and Social Council, ensuring the independence of the Central Bank, creating healthy planning will be discussed.
In addition, the concrete progress regarding issues such as ensuring election security, the healthy progress of the election process, preparation for election day, infrastructure work for information sharing, which is of great importance for 6 parties will be discussed.
Another noteworthy item on the agenda of the leaders and their staffs is the election scenarios. The parties aiming to win both the presidency and the parliamentary majority will also continue to discuss the scenarios necessary to achieve these goals. On the other hand, if one of the goals cannot be achieved, how to operate the achieved goal, may already be one of the projections that will be created.
THE ISSUE OF PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDACY
It is stated that the issue of the presidential candidacy, which is the most curious agenda item from the point of view of the opposition, may be raised through the calendar, if not by name or names. Thus, it is aimed to create a certain excitement in the electorate until this date.
