SHUAYIP ANTIC CITY IN URFA

In SANLIURFA, the ancient city of Sogmatar which is rumored to be the place where Moses lived, and the ancient city of Shuayip, believed to have been inhabited by the Prophet Shuayip, are waiting to be discovered. The ancient city, which resembles Ephesus in Izmir with its image, attracts the attention of nature lovers.

Both antic cities which smell of history, are waiting to be discovered with numerous rock tombs, wells and caves.

SOGMATAR ANTIC CITY

The ancient city of Sogmatar, which is rumored to be the place where Moses lived, and the ancient city of Shuayip, which is thought to have been inhabited by the Prophet Shuayip, take their visitors on a journey through history with their historical assets.

The ancient city of Sogmatar, located in the rainy District of Ayyubiye district, 80 kilometers from the city, is also narrated as the place where the Prophet Shuayip met the Prophet Moses. It is rumored that the two prophets lived in the ancient cities of Sogmatar and Shuayip, located 15 kilometers from each other.
