Statement from Presidential Palace says Erdogan will call on U.S. for de facto support

The spokesman for the Presidential Palace of Turkey made a statement saying “Erdogan will have talks with Macron, Merkel, Trump, Johnson”. He also added details about the telephone conversation between Erdogan and Putin. The spokesman said, “Putin and Erdogan have agreed to hold face-to-face talks as soon as possible”.

He also shared there was no need for a new motion and went on to say following:

“Our president has stated that the blood of our soldiers has been added to the national security problem caused by the regime, which has massed millions of people on our borders also noting that the blood of our martyrs will never be left on the ground.

The President has also voiced that he expects parties to declare a permanent ceasefire as proposed by Turkish delegation in Ankara as soon as possible and the regime is forced to comply with the Sochi memorandum.

The president added such attacks would not deter Turkey from its approach regarding Idlib. The president has stated that such attacks have made Turkey more determined on the contrary adding the parties to the Astana process and the international community should fulfill their responsibilities.”
