Tatmetal Flat Steel Co ranks 89th on Turkey’s 500 largest industrial enterprises list
TATMETAL, Turkey’s leading flat sheet producer, continues its rise in the list of “Turkey’s 500 largest industrial enterprises” prepared annually by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ISO). TATMETAL ranked 81st among the 500 largest companies in Turkey in 2018, climbing 9 steps compared to previous year and 89 steps in the last five years.
TATMETAL which meets the needs of the industry in Turkey thanks to its value-added products manufactured in its new generation technology facilities with 100 percent own capital, contributes to domestic production and Turkey’s exportation and at the same time continues investments with the target to become a global brand.
Tatmetal’s business journey in steel sector started in Karadeniz Ereğli, in 1986. After a very rapid development in terms of technology and capacity the company continued its investments and integration, creating substantial added value and realizing product diversification in its facilities located at the Organized Industrial Zone, with 50,000 m2 indoor and 60,000 m2 of open space area
TATMETAL which supplies its customers it considers as business partners with a wide range of products thanks to its integration advantages changed its official business title to TATMETAL ÇELİK SANAYİ ve TİCARET A.Ş (TATMETAL STEEL Industry & Trade Co) in 2015.
