The dollar sees new peak at 11.47 last night due to new developments at home and abroad

Last night, the dollar reached a new peak at 11.47 due to developments both at home and abroad. This morning, the dollar started the day at 11.41 and the euro started at 12.82 lira.

In the last week of November, the dollar/TL reached an all-time high, exceeding 11.47 after 19:25 pm, following US President Biden’s nomination of Powell again as Fed chairman and President Erdogan’s statements to members of the press after the Cabinet Meeting.

Erdogan: We can see the game of “exchange rate and interest rate”

Speaking to the press after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting, Erdogan said: “We see the exchange rate and interest rate games.
