The giant cruise ship Azura arrives in Kusadasi

The giant cruise ship Azura has docked at the port in the Kusadasi district of Aydin with 2 thousand 129 tourists. All tourists, mostly US citizens, who disembarked from the ship that docked for the first time in the Aegean Port Port, were greeted with folklore dances at the port.

Some of the passengers visited the Ancient City of Ephesus and the house of the Virgin Mary in the Selcuk district of Izmir on tours, while those who did not participate in the tour made purchases in the city center.

The Regional Director of Global Ports Holding Eastern Mediterranean Ports said in a statement that Azura docked at the port for the first time and will arrive in the district 4 more times until the end of this season.

CRUISE SECTOR TAKES TURKEY ON COURSE

Stating that they would continue to host the largest cruise ships in the world, he said, “We have already stated that 2022 and 2023 will be the years when Turkey is spoken about in cruise tourism.
