The new skyline of the Golden Horn attracts great reaction
The project called Tersane Istanbul, implemented by Fettah Tamince (a pro-government businessman) and former AKP deputy Abdulkadir Kart on the banks of the Golden Horn, is “rising”. The buildings built in the area, which is one of the most important areas in the history of the city, have also changed the skyline.
The new constructions that are rising next to the historical buildings in the billion-dollar project called Tersane Istanbul attracts the reaction of the people of Istanbul.
According to the 49-year Build-Operate-Transfer model project tendered in 2013 facilities such as dockyard hotel, apartments, office buildings, commercial facilities, religious facilities, dining areas, convention center, a theater, entertainment centers and 2 marina with a capacity of 70 yachts will be built in a very historical area.

This area hosts 17 industry structures, 2 surface ruins, 3 examples of civil architecture, and 7 monuments (Corlulu Ali pasa Hamam, Corlulu Ali pasa mosque, Corlulu Ali pasa fountain, Mehmet Dede Tomb, and 2 historic walls and Tower, Aynalikavak Pavilion Baths) and 5 tree memorials (4 pine tree and one gum tree.”
Haliç Golden Horn Marina Tourism and Real Estate had won the tender with a price of $ 1.3 billion on 7 July 2013 and the contract was signed on September 25, 2013. The project, which was said to be completed in four years (end of 2021), was given the right to operate for 45 years.
