The number of companies closed in May increases by 260 percent

According to the data of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the number of companies closed in May 2022 increased by 259.7 percent compared to the same month last year. The number of cooperatives closed increased by 671.4 percent, while the number of real-person commercial enterprises closed increased by 122.2 percent.

The number of companies closed in May is 2 thousand 54. The number of companies that closed in the first five months of the year is 7,597.
