Number of doctors wishing to go abroad is running to a record

After President and AKP leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan used the statement “If they go, let them go” referring to Turkish doctors, the number of physicians who have applied to the Turkish Medical Association (TTB) for “Certificate of good conduct” to leave the country and live abroad, is running to a record. In 2021, 1405 physicians applied for the document, while in the first 7 months of 2022, this number was 1402.
