The palace spends 7 million TL in one day

According to the Presidential Audit Report of the Court of Account (Audit Court), in 2020, the AKP President alone spent 2 billion 896 million 174 thousand 350 TL. The amount spent by the Palace in one day exceeded 7.9 million TL.

The government’s spending did not go down in 2020, when the coronavirus epidemic was deeply felt, citizens were kept at home for weeks and experienced a loss of income. Examining the annual expenses of the Presidency, the Court of Auditors revealed that the Palace spends 7.9 million TL per day.

According to the 2020 Presidential Financial Reports of the Court of Accounts, the income of the Presidency in 2020 was 95 million 632 thousand 368 TL. On the other hand, the total amount of expenditures signed by AKP President Tayyip Erdogan was 2 billion 896 million 174 thousand 350 TL. Thus, the loss (public loss) of the Palace in 2020 was 2 billion 800 million 541 thousand 982 TL.
