The trilateral meeting in Antalya ends without any progress on ceasefire

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF), organized with the participation of the foreign ministers of Russia-Ukraine-Turkey, has ended. It was reported that no progress on ceasefire had been achieved in the meeting.

Russia had launched a comprehensive invasion operation on the territory of Ukraine on February 24. The escape of civilians continues in Ukraine, where more than 2 million citizens have been reported to emigrate to neighboring countries due to the ongoing clashes.

In order to stop the Russian-Ukrainian war, the parties held three rounds of negotiations in Belarus, but disagreements remained. At the last meeting, a temporary ceasefire was agreed for the evacuation of civilians.

As part of Turkey’s initiatives, the two countries had agreed to have their foreign ministers meet at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, mediated by Turkey. Unluckily, no progress on ceasefire was achieved in the meeting.
