“US gives deadline for Israel to end attacks” according to US based news outlet
US-based news outlet Politico reported that the United States has given Israel until the end of the year to cease its attacks on Gaza. Politico attributed the news to three unnamed officials in Israel, according to reports. The Joe Biden administration reportedly set a deadline for Israel to halt its attacks by the end of the year.
It was noted that US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized this deadline during his visit to Tel Aviv on November 30.
The news reported that Israeli officials shared their ‘months-long plans’ regarding the attacks in Gaza with Blinken, to which he allegedly responded, “You don’t have that much credit.”
Meanwhile, The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) previously reported that during Blinken’s visit, he assessed in the Israeli war cabinet that the attacks needed to end ‘within weeks, not months.’ (diken)
