A tour boat with 82 tourists on board caught fire near the island of Rhodes in the Mediterranean Sea. The tourists on the boat were rescued by the coast guard and surrounding boats.

A 45-meter wooden yacht cruising off the coast of Stegnon on the side of the island of Rhodes in the Mediterranean overlooking Marmaris in Turkey, suddenly caught fire with 82 foreign passengers and 6 staff members on board.

According to SOZCU newspaper, some tourists jumped into the sea from the flaming boat half a mile off the coast, while surrounding boats, boats and coast guard teams rescued the tourists and brought them ashore.

Some of the tourists who experienced great fear were treated in ambulances. Intense efforts were made to extinguish the boat, which burned for about two hours and whose flag was not disclosed.
