Tour operator and airline Jet2 suspends flight and holiday operations

Jet2, the UK’s major tour operator and airline, has announced it will postpone its summer season flight and holiday operations until June 23.

Jet2 cited the disappointment caused by the pattern prepared by the Global Travel Task Force, created by the UK Department of Transport, for resumption of travel, as a justification for the decision.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays Chief Executive said in a statement: “due to the uncertainty in the template, we have suspended flights and holidays until June 23, 2021. If customers who have not yet travelled are affected by the change, we will automatically cancel their booking and make refunds”.

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays had announced more than 100 additional flights to Turkey in mid-March. nd had increased its capacity with additional flights to Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman from June to end of October.
