Security Measures Against Corona in Antalya

Turkish tourism experts, who expect a hundred percent increase in the new-year compared to 2020, draw attention to the important exit Turkey has achieved worldwide with its health tourism certificate during the pandemic period.

For example, Antalya, which closed the year 2020 with a loss of 70 percent, expects a hundred percent increase in 2021. Experts say: “a World Tourism without Antalya will not be considered in 2021. But despite all the increases and expectations, the numbers in 2019 can only be reached in 2023”

Experts also note following; “This being the case, tourism mobility, which will continue – although limited – will probably be possible in 2021, with PCR tests. But we do not anticipate that this will have a negative impact on tourism, as it has already been implemented around the world. Also, getting everyone vaccinated may not be possible this summer.”

Starting 30 December 2020, Turkey has introduced a requirement to those who enter the country to have with them negative PCR test result (no older than 24 hours) which will be in effect until 1 March 2021.
