Tourist falls down stairs in Alanya and loses his life
A 57-year-old German tourist who fell from the stairs descending to the beach in Alanya lost his life.
The incident occurred in the Mahmutlar Neighborhood. Viktor Böspflug (57), a resident in Alanya, lost his balance and fell to the concrete floor while descending the stairs to go to the beach. Citizens who saw the incident reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center.
Upon the notification, the medical teams who came to the scene took the injured man to Alanya Training and Research Hospital by ambulance. Böspflug, who was treated here, could not be saved despite all the intervention of doctors. The gendarmerie launched an investigation into the incident. (TA)
