Rise of CHATGPT creates concern: Many employees may become unemployed

Many have started worrying that the rise of CHATGPT, the chatbot produced by the artificial intelligence development company OpenAI, will leave many industry employees unemployed.

Artificial intelligence is already turning certain areas upside down, especially after CHATGPT, which was launched in November and is available to the public for free as an intelligent chatbot.

While experts warn that the rise of artificial intelligence could replace salaried white collar workers, it is thought that a number of industry employees such as the financial sector, healthcare and publishing will be unemployed due to ChatGPT.

An associate professor of computer science and electrical engineering at New York University said many people were right to be worried.

Describing CHATGPT as “very, very good but not perfect” in its current form, he said, “There is a risk that certain jobs in sectors such as journalism, higher education, graphics and software design will be performed by artificial intelligence.”
