The ‘ceiling price’ applied for one-way flights on domestic routes has been increased from 1.150 TL to 1.650 TL with an increase of about 43 percent.

According to the news in Haberturk, after the ceiling price increased, airline companies started selling tickets to various points for 1,650 TL.

The ceiling fee in one direction on domestic routes was first determined by the General Directorate of Civil Aviation as TL 299 in 2013.

The ceiling fee was set at 309 TL in 2014 and 352 TL in 2017 and the same fare tariff continued until October of 2019. The ceiling fee was 499 liras at the end of 2021.

There is no ceiling fee application for domestic business class and international ticket prices. The ceiling price, which was 599 liras at the beginning of 2022, was later revised to 1,150 liras.
