Travel Turkey: Tourism Professional says Antalya targets 18 million tourists in 2025

Kaan Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Tourist Hoteliers and Operators Association (AKTOB), announced that the goal for 2025 was to attract 18 million tourists to Antalya.

Kavaloğlu shared that Antalya had reached a record number of tourists in 2024 with 17.28 million arrivals and stated that the target for 2025 was 18 million tourists.

He also mentioned that they did not expect growth from the Russian and Ukrainian markets due to the ongoing conflict but were optimistic about growth from Germany and the UK.

Additionally, Kavaloğlu pointed to Poland, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and Romania as other strong markets, and mentioned that this year, they would focus on France.
