Turkey ranks fifth in the world in the number of cases: “It’s time to take precautions”

Although testing is limited, even with data verified by the Ministry of Health, Turkey ranks 5th in the World Health Organization weekly case count table. The Science Academy also revealed that there were 25 percent more additional deaths than usual in Istanbul, last week.

Following the increasing number of cases, the increase in deaths has also caused concern. A public health expert commented, ”It is not the time to be relieved, it is the time to take precautions”.

25 PERCENT MORE DEATHS THAN USUAL
