Turkey represented at 2013 BIO International Convention
Surveys show that Turkey’s biotech sector provides a fertile ground for international biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies seeking growth opportunities in a strategically located emerging country.
In fact, sectors like husbandry and poultry make use of the new products launched in the market in considerably big quantities.
Some suppliers prefer to produce locally whereas some others prefer to operate through agents and distributors in Turkey.
Within this framework Turkey’s biotech and pharmaceutical sector has once again taken its place at the 2013 BIO International Convention, the premier event of the global biotechnology industry, to be held in Chicago, USA on April 22-25. The sector is represented by relevant ministries, industry associations, prominent pharmaceutical companies and well as the Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey (ISPAT).
It is reported that a large delegation led by Turkey’s Minister of Health, Mehmet Muezzinoglu, will be participating in the premier gathering of the global biotechnology industry to be held betwen 22-25 April.
