Turkey should bring back PCR control and secure certificate practice

Those who were pursuing reasonably paid tours until two years ago, trying to find a place to socialize, are looking for a place where there are few people, today. Let alone collectively share the same bus or plane, they avoid being on a crowded beach.
This in return, has almost ended holidays through tour operators. As such, many countries have directed their citizens to domestic tourism, rather than sending them to other countries as tourists.
This way, they targeted to rescue the tourism sector and also aimed to protect their citizens by keeping them inside.
Turkey urgently needs to solve two issues urgently for the tourism sector
- First bringing back measures including the return of the PCR control/application for tourists coming from countries where mutants with high risk are seen (such as India).
- Secondly bringing back the application of “Secure Certificate”, together with vaccination practice
Tourism is of essential importance for Turkey as it is closely related to 30 sectors. May, June and July have already been lost. In order not to lose the period after July, instead of traveling from country to country and trying to create demand from tourists, the authority must pave the way for the developments to come in the coming months.
