On Thursday, all attention is expected to be on the Central Bank’s announcement of the second inflation report of the year. Accordingly, Central Bank President Fatih Karahan will share the year-end inflation forecasts. Karahan’s evaluations of the economic situation will also be the focus of the markets.

The unemployment rate in Turkey decreased to 8.7 percent in February. The number of unemployed decreased by 109 thousand people to 3 million 78 thousand during this period. With the effect of implemented policies, a further decrease in unemployment is expected to continue.
