Turkey’s Health Minister makes announcement about removal of mask requirement

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca gave messages about the process regarding the outbreak of the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19). He said, “From now on, we want those who are sick to be tested. Those sick people should isolate themselves by wearing masks.”

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca answered questions forwarded by journalists after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting held yesterday ( February 16). He said: “We will have a press conference on Wednesday or Thursday next week. We will tell you about decisions we will have made in the fight against the epidemic and the process of what to do next. We will make it clear what will be done next, including the issue of when the masks will come off.”
