Erdogan announces inflation target: “The interest rate debate has dropped from the agenda, we need to reduce inflation to single digits next”

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of the AKP spoke at the Beştepe Millet Congress and Cultural Center in the program on the Appointment of Disabled Civil Servants. “The interest rate debate has dropped off the agenda recently, and now we need to reduce inflation to single digits,” Erdogan said, delivering an interest and inflation message.

The President went on to say, “We have employed 12 thousand disabled brothers and sisters as civil servants this year. Now, like every citizen, our disabled citizens can come to quite good positions by displaying their capabilities”

Time to bring inflation down to single digits

On the other hand, Erdogan also gave a message about interest rate and inflation saying “We will save our citizens from the clutches of today’s troubles with the permission of Allah. Step by step, we are implementing our program which we have prepared with the goal of building a great and strong Turkey. We will also tear apart the shackles of interest, exchange rate, inflation. If you pay attention, the interest rate debate has now dropped significantly from the agenda. The exchange rate has also stabilized. Now it’s time to bring inflation down to single digits.”
