ADRASAN ANTALYA

Adrasan is a small holiday resort at Kumluca district of Antalya. It has an interesting bay surrounded by pine trees. It is estimated that the name of the Adrasan resort comes from the word ‘Adrasos’ used in the Luvi language.. The word Adrasos means ‘Mother Goddess Country’ in this language.

The closed bay of Adrasan has a wide and long beach. It is possible to enter the sea from any point. The heights in the forest coming out from both sides of the Adrasan bay exhibit beauties showing how aesthetic the bay is. The bottom surface of the water in  the bay is all sand and shallow. The environment here is full of interesting natural beauties with no highways around.

ADRASAN BAY, CREEK AND SURROUNDINGS

It’s a hard-to-describe the atmosphere here but irt would be enough to say it’s an environment you don’t want to leave. While the hot city of Antalya has been almost captured by crowds, Adrasan, 100 km away from Antalya, offers peace and tranquility.

One can leave via Antalya – Kaş road and drive down to Adrasan using the 22 km road towards the sea. As you approach the sea at the entrance of the resort, you meet a completely different world. The private lodge established in the Adrasan Stream, which you cannot see that it flows towards the sea, the terraces and the ducks and geese that swim around display beauties. The breezy air along the stream with a special air flow distributes the humidity and provides coolness.

ONE CAN SPEND A WARM WINTER HERE

Except for January and February when the water level of the stream rises due to the effect of rainfall, domestic and foreign tourists who want to spend a warm winter in the remaining time enjoy the fresh air that makes one feel fit. Vacationers staying in the shade of huge trees in Adrasan, which has a long summer season, spend most of their time in the garden, terrace and the famous beach and sea of Adrasan, only 100 steps away.

GELIDONYA CAPE

In the area, there are trekking places for those who are interested in the environment and hiking. For example, as an option, one can walk from Adrasan Bay to Gelidonya Cape. Even at the most harsh moment of the sea between Mavikent and Gelidonya, the Oturak Bay, which is famous as the most peaceful place of refuge, can be seen with its beach, retaining its charm.

This beautiful environment is also a unique course for those who are interested in water sports. The sea water temperature is high and the season is long in the region, especially the sea, which is clear and has an underwater viewing distance of close to 29 meters, creates sufficient conditions for fishermen and underwater photographers.
