Turkey’s hotels may fall into hands of Arab countries at rock-bottom prices

A top professional in accommodation sector has said the industry has paid a high price due to the slow-down in business in March 2021.
The professional added that bookings had stopped adding the tourism sector was at risk of losing 2021, as well. If there is no support, facilities will incur serious economic crisis.Said top professional also noted that currently all hotels were in debt and they had exhausted the money put aside in 2020.
Same person went on to say;
“In 2021, they will have to be able to float this ship into the tourist season of 2022. The ship is difficult to float if support is not provided. The sector has serious financial risk. Many facilities will become the prey of financial companies, especially in the Gulf countries, for very cheap prices. Hotels that did not open last year will be opened this year, even if 20 million tourists come, the tourism sector will be longing for the performance in 2020.
The sector is known to be providing direct employment for 1 million 250 thousand people with 12 thousand facilities.
