Champions League final likely to be taken from Turkey to Portugal

Some reports say it is only a matter of time before the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea, to be played on 29 May, is taken from Istanbul. The Final will possibly be played at Porto’s Stadium, Estadio Dragao.

This decision is expected as a result of the UK government’s negotiations with UEFA. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has indicated that they will not recognize an exemption because Turkey is on the Red List.

UEFA is said to have made its final decision for the Champions League final. It’s only a matter of time before the giant final in Istanbul is taken to Porto. UEFA, which is in talks with the British government, has decided to award the final to Porto’s Stadium, the Estadio do Dragao, Sky Sports reported. UEFA is said to be preparing to announce its decision within 24 hours. It is also reported that 11 thousand spectators will also be taken to the stands in the final to be held at the Estadio do Dragao.
