Turkey’s Industry & Technology Minister says all main factories to open on May 11

Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank who attended the ASO (Ankara Chamber of Industry) Assembly meeting said production in the automotive sector had started and all the main factories would start operating on May 11.

Varank who stated that there were significant improvements in production informed that production in the automotive sector had already started and that all the main factories would start operating on May 11.

He said some textile factories had begun to work and with the opening of shopping malls and normalizing of export channels the industry would recover fast. He went on to say, “We are going through a difficult period, but we need to evaluate the opportunities that it would bring to us”.

Varank underlined that the main success would come by shaping the new normal now and requested industrialists to pay attention to following 5 important points.
