Turkish Airlines announces it has suspended UK flights for a temporary period

Turkish Airlines (THY) has announced that it has temporarily suspended scheduled flights from Turkey to the United Kingdom as part of the corona virus measures, excluding cargo flights, in accordance with a decision taken by the UK authorities.

In a statement on the official website of Turkish Airlines on this issue, it was said:

* Due to decisions taken by the UK authorities, flights departing from Turkey – arriving in the UK (excluding cargo) will not be available for a temporary period from 06:00 (GMT+3) on 12 May 2021.

* There are no restrictions on our flights from the United Kingdom to Turkey and other countries with transfers via Turkey.
