Turkish Airlines and Belavia will not take Iraqi, Syrian and Yemeni people on flights to Belarus via Turkey.

Turkish Airlines and Belavia, the airline company of Belarus have announced that they will not accept Syrian, Iraqi and Yemeni citizens on flights to Minsk.

According to Sputnik, due to the migration crisis, THY and Belavia will no longer accept citizens of Iraq, Syria and Yemen, except for those who have a diplomatic passport or residence permit on flights to Belarus.

Only those who have a diplomatic passport and a residence permit are allowed.

A source from Turkish Airlines said to Sputnik “Our airline will accept only Iraqi, Syrian and Yemeni citizens who have a diplomatic passport or have a Belarusian residence permit on flights to Minsk”.
