The number of Turkish doctors going to Germany has broken the record of the century. In the first three months, 700 doctors are reported to have gone to Europe. The number of people who went to Germany exceeded 10 thousand. Turkish doctors will receive the right of permanent settlement in Germany if they work there for 21 months.

Turkish doctors who went to European countries, especially Germany, broke the record of the century. In the first three months of this year, 700 doctors received a “Certificate of Good Conduct“ from the Turkish Medical Association. Based on the first three months of previous years, the highest rate in the number of doctors who received documents was in 2022. Last year, 567 doctors received certificates.

253 doctors applied for this document in 2021, 221 in 2020 and 275 in 2019. Before 2019, the number of doctors going to Europe was much lower than these figures.

BY SPECIAL PERMISSION OF EU LAW

The German Employment Agency has prepared a special regulation for Turkish doctors who learn German to go to Europe, take an exam in German exam and obtain a certificate of eligibility.

In the brochure, which describes the stages that Turkish doctors will go through, the 19th of the European Union Blue Card Law for visas for doctors is explained.  According to this, Turkish doctors who are offered a business agreement that they will earn at least 41,808 euros per year will be given a Blue Card that provides a work and residence permit.

THEY WILL BE GRANTED RIGHT TO PERMANENT RESIDENCE

For those in this situation, the approval of the Employment Agency will be required. This condition will not be required for foreigners or Turks who have completed medical school in Germany. A Turkish doctor will receive a gross salary of 53,600 euros if he/she finds a job.

This person will be able to come with a visa that he/she will receive from the foreign units of the EU or the foreign representative of Germany. For this, the approval or information of the Employment Agency will not be sought. Especially specialist doctors are expected to benefit from this practice.
