Turkish Meteorological Service releases weather forecast for September 14, 2024

According to the new report, 50 provinces, including Istanbul, have been warned of heavy rain starting from Sunday, and the rainfall is expected to continue for five days in these regions. Here is the detailed weather forecast for some provinces:
– Overall Conditions: The western and northeastern parts of Turkey will be partly cloudy, with occasional heavy cloud cover. Showers and thunderstorms are expected in the western parts of Thrace, the inner and high regions of the Eastern Black Sea, the northeastern parts of Eastern Anatolia, as well as around İzmir, Manisa, Edremit Bay, Osmaniye, and İskenderun Bay. The rest of the country will experience mostly clear weather.
– Temperature: The temperatures are expected to be 2 to 4 degrees Celsius above seasonal averages in the northern, central, and eastern regions, while remaining around the seasonal averages elsewhere.
– Wind: Winds will generally blow from the south, while in the northeastern regions, they will come from the north and northwest, at light to moderate strength. Strong winds (40-60 km/h) are expected in the western part of the Marmara region.
