The Wall Street Journal, a leading US newspaper has written about Turkish-made drones. Low-cost armed drones produced in Turkey Are Reshaping Conflict Zones and geopolitics, the report said.

The world continues to talk about the success of armed unmanned aerial vehicles (SIHA) produced by Turkey. Turkish UAVs continue to be on the agenda with sales of 24 units to Poland which is an EU member, recently. Likewise the same issue has been on Swiss state TV SFR.

This time, Turkish-made Sihas were the subject of the Wall Street Journal, one of the well-established newspapers in the United States. “Armed and low-cost Turkish UAVs are reshaping conflict zones and geopolitics” the newspaper said, noting that small armies around the world are turning to more affordable means of attack against their enemies. “This new war tactic, which proved successful in regional conflicts last year, changed the strategic balance around Turkey and Russia” the report added.

LOW COST TECHNOLOGY

The report praised Turkish UAVs emphasizing missile-equipped drones produced with low-cost digital technology in Turkey have neutralized Russian-protected tanks and other defense systems in the wars in Syria, Libya and Azerbaijan.
